After beginning her career as an educator and early intervention provider at The Omaha Hearing School and Central Institute for the Deaf, Dr. Voss joined the faculty at Fontbonne University. In her time in the university setting, Voss has worn many hats. Currently she chairs the Communication Disorders & Deaf Education department where she supports student and faculty development, manages course schedules, is responsible for adjunct hiring, and manages two satellite speech-language pathology sites as well as fostering relationships amongst remote faculty and students. As the Project Director for several Office of Special Education Program (OSEP) 325K grant projects, Voss has recruited scholars who have successfully pursued graduate degrees in speech-language pathology and deaf education. Her journey at Fontbonne, including varied leadership roles, has been marked by her dedicated contributions to the growth and success of both students and programs.
